The Problem A Premier League team and household name around the world, Manchester City F.C. is one of the big dogs in the football world. With such status and skill there comes the ultimate in training facilities, with the jaw-dropping Ethihad Campus opening its doors back in 2014. 16 football pitches, 7 swimming pools and 3 state of the art gymnasiums? As if you even had to ask…   The Solution It goes without saying that this sleek facility needed safety column padding of the highest caliber to ensure its prized players were training in a safe environment. When training so intensively and at such a high level, the chances of injury are much higher without the additional threat of corners and hard surfaces surrounding the pitch.   The Result After an exciting visit to the Central Training Facility in Manchester to record precise measurements, Safety Pads UK designed a total of 80 column safety pads with cut-out sections and velcro fastenings for easy removal. Produced in the navy blue hue of the Manchester City F.C.’s emblem, we’re proud to say these column safety pads looked a true part of the team.

Twice a week, the Noah’s Ark Mum & Toddler Group meets in St. Andrew’s Church, Plymouth. As many as 30 children enjoy an hour or two of stories, singing, and socialising whilst the parents steal a precious moment to enjoy a well-earned cup of tea and a homemade cake.   The Problem The spacious church hall is perfect for the gatherings with plenty of room for toys, youngsters and parents. When the Snozone team contacted us about their indoor snow slopes, we grabbed our woolly hats and scarves and headed straight over to find out how we could help.   About Snozone Snozone is the UK’s leading centre for indoor skiing, sledging and snowboarding on real snow, with lengthy 170m slopes and dedicated coaching slopes at both the Castleford and Milton Keynes centres.   The Problem With thousands of visitors whizzing down the slopes every week, Snozone needed to make sure that their safety pads were up to scratch. Not only did these custom-size pads need to be of the highest standard to prevent Snozone’s staff and clients from injuring themselves when doing their thing on the slopes, they had to be visible against the bright white snow.   The Solution The Safety Pads team designed and created 48 custom-sized, eye-catching and on-brand safety pads, column protectors and post protectors in Snozone’s signature bright green colour.   The Results “Working with the Safety Pads team was absolutely fantastic. RG Group were appointed as the principal contractor to construct the car showroom facilities in Stockport for LSH Auto Properties (UK) Limited.The new purpose-built three-story facility which will be the largest Mercedes showroom in Europe will create a hub for the Manchester area for Mercedes-Benz. The 10.5-acre site will be a showcase for 140 vehicles, it will incorporate a dedicated AMG suite and display over 100 approved used Mercedes Benz vehicles in a purpose-built indoor showroom. It will also feature 30 workshop bays.After a comprehensive site assessment during the design and construction phases, our product team created a detailed report outlining our recommendations and proposed solution to protect LHS Auto staff and new Mercedes vehicles awaiting service from the concrete and metal pillars and stanchions.We manufactured bespoke safety pads that are now installed at the newly opened Mercedes Benz site where the high visibility yellow pillar protectors can be clearly seen and safely navigated!

With shooting ranges, abseiling towers, and controlled petrol bombing areas, the internationally acclaimed Carr Gate Police Training Facility in West Yorkshire is truly a world within itself. Click here to watch a video tour!   The Problem The Life Fire Skills House within the Carr Gate complex is a two-storey replica of a community home, used by training Firearms Officers armed with rubber bullets.
