Our Story: A Legacy of Protection

Safety-Pads was born from a simple observation: if exposed posts and structures posed a risk to rugby players, why did the same protection not exist for other environments where people could be injured?


Over 30 years ago, Neal Spencer recognised the wider need for impact protection beyond the rugby pitch and developed Safety-Pads into a specialist range of protective solutions designed to make sports facilities, workplaces and public environments safer.


What began with rugby post protection has grown into a globally recognised safety solutions business, supplying impact protection across sport, education, construction, automotive, industrial and commercial environments.


Today, Safety-Pads continues to combine practical experience, innovative thinking and UK manufacturing expertise to create protection solutions that reduce risk, safeguard people and protect valuable assets.
